Daily updates and open communication with parents ensure each child’s needs, progress, and special requests are always met.

Part Time Care AM or PM
Morning & Afternoon Playdate Club
Many children love the idea of bringing friends home to play after preschool— this is the perfect opportunity! Your child will have time to explore, create, and connect with friends in a structured yet playful environment.
Our Part-Time Care offers flexible morning and afternoon options for children aged 2-6 years old, with pick-up and drop-off services available to Jumpstart Academy in Edgemont. During these times, your child will participate in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development, along with a healthy snack provided by us. It’s a fantastic opportunity for your little one to make new friends and grow in a fun, nurturing environment. If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to contact us!
Playdate Times:
🌞 Morning Playdate: 7:30 AM - 12:15 PM
🌙 Afternoon Playdate: 12:15 PM - 5:00 PM

Drop In Play Date
Drop-In Club – Flexible, Fun, and Engaging Child Care.
Need reliable, high-quality child care on the go? Our Drop-In Club is the perfect solution for busy families looking for a safe, engaging, and educational space for their little ones. Whether it’s for a few hours or the whole day, children will enjoy open-ended activities, hands-on crafts, interactive play, and a healthy snack—all while making new friends in a warm and welcoming environment.
Drop-In Club Rates:
✔ $40 4 hours, 45 minutes or less
✔ $55 4.75 - 9.5 hours
We provide all the fun, creativity, and structure of a top-quality Dayhome service—ensuring your child has a blast while learning, exploring, and growing. Whether you need a last-minute spot or a planned break, we’ve got you covered!

Transportation
We are pleased to share that transportation is currently available on Mondays and Fridays from Jumpstart Edgemont to Heart and Play for the morning class ending at 11:30 AM.
Starting in September, full transportation to and from will be available for children enrolled in Heart and Play at some capacity. Please note that transportation services are exclusive to families actively participating in the Heart and Play dayhome.
If you require transportation on different days, please inquire, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Once a tour is scheduled, we will discuss your family’s specific transportation requirements in more detail.

The Babysitters Club
Join us for Weekend Playdates at Heart and Play! Our engaging and interactive activities provide children with an opportunity to learn and play in a fun and supportive setting. While allowing the parents the freedom of getting some errands complete. The Babysitters club is exactly that, a afternoon club ran by certified Canadian Red Cross Babysitters.
3 hr durations.
2 weekends a month.
ECE Educator on site at all times.
